Mil, was the Hebrew name of the coin that was legal in Israel during the British Mandate, and then the official name of the coin in the State of Israel until 1952. Observe: In the center is a seven-leaf olive stalk. The stalk separates at its lower end between a date in standard numerals to the left and a date in Arabic numerals to the right. Around is the caption ‘Palestine’ in Hebrew on the left, in English above and in Arabic on the right. Reverse: In the center is a circle within the number ‘100’ in standard numerals and in Arabic numerals below. Around the circle is the caption ‘One Hundred Mils’ in Hebrew on the left, in English on the top, and in Arabic on the right
