Obverse: Yeshiva-styled building with "$1oo" below; legend "Help Build the First Jewish High School – Brownsville & East New York".
Reverse: students studying in building; legend "Rabbi Chaim Berlin High School | Every Dollar Helps"; date 1928 & Hebrew equivalent on either side; at base, Hebrew legend "Yeshivat R[abbi] Chaim Berlin". Rabbi Berlin was Chief Rabbi of Moscow, head of Rabbinical "Beis Din" in Volozhin & co-Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem Ashkenazi community. Token minted by Whitehead & Hoag of Newark.
