Very rare Prefix, only a few of this type are known (around 10) and every few years they are offered for sale. A special opportunity.
In 1917, the British conquered Israel from the Ottomans and British military rule in Israel began.
The Currency Bank Banknotes were the first to be issued for Israel (formerly Palestine).
Entered circulation on Monday, November 1, 1927, and served as a legal proceeding in Jordan and the Gaza Strip as well.
The banknote values in the series were 500 miles, £ 1, £ 5, £ 10, £ 50 and £ 100.
The banknotes were of different colors, bearing paintings of the Tower of David, the Dome of the Rock, the White Tower, and Rachel’s Tomb.
