Check of the Anglo-Palestine Bank (No. 127).
Anglo-Palestine Bank (until 1931, Apak Bank) was the central financial institution of the settlement at the end of the Ottoman period in Israel, throughout the British Mandate, and even in the early days of the State of Israel. The bank was established in 1902 as a company called Anglo-Palestine. And in English: "The Anglo – Palestine Co" (AFC), which was a subsidiary of the Jewish Settlement Fund registered in Britain. The company began operating as a bank in Jaffa in 1903, and in 1931 was renamed the "Anglo-Palestine Bank". The World Zionist Organization, through the Jewish Settlement Treasury, controlled the Bank, and used it to finance its operations in the Land of Israel.
