Israel – Diamonds, Official Award Medal 1974 – Silver 935, 45mm, 47g
The diamond industry in Israel, which exports diamonds and gems polished in Israel, has become the largest of its kind in the world. Its beginnings date back to the thirties, with the arrival of diamond merchants from the Low Countries. Most of its activities are conducted from the "Diamond Exchange" building in Ramat Gan, one of the most modern buildings for the international trade of rough and polished diamonds.

The golden medal reads: "Israel Diamonds 5735-1975" in Hebrew and English.
Reverse: The seven branched candelabra entwined with the wheels of industry around the world, an expression of Israel’s import and export.
