Israel - Tel Aviv waas city note - 50 mil 1948 - LEGACY VG 10 - 5 Digits S.N.

The lack of small change at the time of the establishment of the state of israel in May 1948 created difficulties in the Municipality of Tel-Aviv in the process of the collection of taxes. The Municipality of the Tel-Aviv therefore issued coupons to be used as change when collecting the taxes.
