Germany - 10 shillings - Onchan camp.

The Onchan Internment camp was located on the Isle of Man. The camp contained mostly people that were considered enemy aliens becaue they were German or Austrian nationals. In truth most were Jewish refugees that had fled the Nazis.The Onchan camp issued scrip in three denominations 1/2 crown, 5 shillings, and 10 shillings. Coins were also issued. Over 17,000 internees were housed in Onchan and the other camps on the Isle of Man.
